Changing Background Before Call
To enable background effects and blur on Microsoft Teams before joining the call, follow the steps given below- ● Click on the Three Ellipses at the top right corner of the Microsoft Teams window, and then click on Apply Background Effects.
● Now, look out for the Blur option from all the background effects. You can go for the effect of your choice if you do not want to go for the Blur effect.

If you want to change the background and make it blur before you join the call, then you can do so by following the steps given below- ● Tap on the Join Now option before you join the meeting. ● After doing so, tap on the Background effects option. You will be headed to the Preview screen.
● To blur the background, select the Blur option, which will set your background to blur. If you want to set it to something else, select another option.

That’s how you can change the background before you join the call; however, if you want to change the background and make it blur while you are in the call, then you can do so by following the steps given below- ● Click on the three ellipses icon at the bottom bar while in the call. ● From the menu that opens up, select Background effects. ● Next, for the background to blur, select the Blur tile.
